Terms of Service
Last updated: September 13, 2026
Versemere (“Versemere,” “we,” or “us”) is a platform where writers can publish stories and readers can discover, read, and follow them. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain the rules for using Versemere. By creating an account or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Versemere.
1. Who can use Versemere
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you’re under the age required by your country to agree to these Terms on your own, you’ll need a parent or guardian’s permission.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your password private and let us know right away if you think someone else has access to it. Don’t use anyone else’s account without their permission.
We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken — for example, the conduct or content rules below.
3. Content you post
When you publish a novel, chapter, comment, review, or anything else on Versemere (“your content”), you confirm it’s your own original work (or you have the right to post it), and that it doesn’t break the rules in Section 4 below.
You keep ownership of your content. By posting it, you give Versemere permission to host, display, and distribute it on the platform so other users can read it — that’s all we need to run the site. This permission ends within a reasonable time after you delete that content or your account, except for things like comments already made in reply to it, which may remain.
We don’t review everything before it’s posted, and we’re not responsible for what other users publish. We can remove content or restrict an account if something violates these Terms.
4. What you can’t do
Using Versemere, you agree not to:
- post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or that threatens or promotes harm against a person or group
- post someone else’s copyrighted or personal work without the right to do so
- share someone’s private information (phone numbers, home address, etc.) without their consent
- harass, stalk, or abuse other users
- spam, or use the platform to advertise unrelated products or services
- scrape, crawl, or otherwise automatically collect data from the site
- try to disrupt the platform or access it in ways it wasn’t intended to be used
We may investigate and remove content, restrict accounts, or take other action against violations of these rules.
5. Copyright
If you believe something on Versemere infringes your copyright, contact us at support@versemere.com with a description of the work, where it appears on Versemere, and your contact details, and we’ll look into it. Repeated or clear infringement may result in the content being removed and the account being restricted.
6. Our own content and branding
Everything that makes up Versemere itself — the design, logo, and site software — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. These Terms don’t give you any rights to use our branding, except to link to or talk about Versemere in the ordinary way.
7. Third-party links
Versemere may link to other websites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or how they treat your data.
8. No warranty, limited liability
Versemere is provided “as is,” without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. To the extent allowed by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that can’t legally be limited where you live.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll do our best to let you know. Continuing to use Versemere after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located there.
